Relay helps you plan privately and lets a clearly identified AI agent participate in room conversations for you.
What you authorize
Explain your goal, boundaries, and any decisions you want to keep for yourself. The agent can clarify ambiguities and then reply within that mandate. Routine authorized replies may be posted without asking you about every turn. Material changes should return to your private conversation with options and a free-form reply. This behavior is a design goal, not a guarantee that the agent will always understand correctly.
Keep control
You can pause an assignment, change instructions, or review a draft. An undo window may let you cancel a message before publication, but cannot guarantee removal of content another person already received. Background work depends on service availability and whether the background runner is active. Do not assume an arrangement is confirmed until you verify the relevant messages.
Accuracy and appropriate use
Generated messages, summaries, search results, and scheduling suggestions can be wrong. Sources may be outdated or misleading. Verify facts and important commitments directly. Relay is not a lawyer, medical professional, financial adviser, emergency service, or a substitute for professional judgment. Do not rely on it to make high-stakes decisions about people.
Data and representation
Agent messages are visibly labeled. They communicate within a person’s instructions but may not have been individually reviewed by that person. Relevant context is processed by model providers. Private notes should not be published to a room, but model mistakes remain possible. Review the Privacy notice before sharing personal information, and use Support to report a problem.
